Over Rs340m spent on Dr Arsalan to win favorable verdicts: Malik Riaz

 

ISLAMABAD: Malik Riaz statement submitted to the Supreme Court said that more than Rs 340 million were spent on Dr Arsalan Iftikhar's three foreign tours,

The statement added that Dr Arsalan claimed that he could settle the cases fought in his father's court in favour of Bahria Town but that not happened.

A two-member bench is hearing the Arsalan suo moto case.

Real estate tycoon, arrived at the SC building today to appear before the court for the first time since the matter flared up earlier this month.

PEMRA acts against objectionable ads of Zong and Oppo mobiles

Electronic media watchdog PEMRA has directed Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) to have amendments made to cell phone company Zong and Oppo mobile phone adverts after complaints by viewers. The filming and dresses in Zong 4G ad and that of Oppo are not in line with "our social and tradition values", PEMRA said. PBA has been told to amend the ads by 6pm on February 20 failing which the ads would be banned.Full Story
