Pakistani court dismiss petition against Army Chief’s tenure
Islamabad High Court has been in the spotlight since two judges of this court were disallowed by the government days before they were scheduled to hear a high profile case against Pakistan’s Army Chief in November last year. However, recently--- on Supreme Court’s order, the government restored these two judges back to Islamabad High Court. So they once again took up the petition against government's controversial decision of 2010 to extend his tenure by November this year. However, after months of controversy, the court dismissed the petition against the army chief.
